Rare piece by Evelyn Pearson..
I’m guessing that’s it’s a 1950’s but it could be early 60’s..
The fabric is a soft lightweight cotton in a pretty soft powder blue..
Contrasting neck trim and floral appliqués done in a dark blue plaid..
Simple cut to the sleeveless tailored bodice..
Buttons down the front with a tie at the neckline..
Loops at the waist for a belt or sash to cinch a perfect silhouette..
The full sweep skirt hides a little secret..
Pants!
Capri length full palazzo sweep culottes!
Scrolling floral appliqués at each side hip..
Big side pockets..
So comfy and darling!
Has a small zipper at the waist in combination with the front buttons and some snaps..
Unlined.
All seams are finished with pinking shears..
Excellent condition..the zipper has a little bit of rust that has transferred onto the back and faintly on the front pleat..has no belt or ties, I used a white ribbon to cinch the waist for the photos
