Oooh this is a pretty one!
1970’s vintage dress from Young Edwardian by Arpeja..
Summer white cotton..
A lovely simple cut..
Tailored empire bodice with a straight bustline..
Triangle panel at the upper waist…
The bodice has an asymmetrical embroidery of roses and scrolling flowers with a sweeping wave m, mountains, seagulls, a pagoda..
The triangle panel is embroidered with birds and ribbons and flowers..
This embroidery is textured giving the wave a 3-D appearance..
Really special!!
Wide simple straps..
Elastic smocking at the back of the bodice..
Full sweep tiered maxi length skirt with fantastic ladder embroidery in between the ruffled tiers..
Bodice is lined with cotton..
Skirt is lined with a full sweep acetate lining trimmed with lace!
Zips up the side.
Excellent condition..shows a bit of yellowing on the straps from wear and storage..can be lightened I’m sure..elastic smocking does not have much stretch..zipper stitching shows a bit of seam stress
