The sleeves need to be mentioned first because I’m completely mesmerized by them..
Sheer chiffon..puffed and gathered into 3 perfect sections..wide sweep lace cuffs that have almost a point to them..
Is there a name for a sleeve like this?!
The top of the shoulder is accented with an enormous chiffon double bow on each side..
I have never seen such a fantastic style sleeve..
The bodice is tailored with a beautiful neckline trimmed with a lace ruffle flounce..
The pointed waist is accented with scalloped rose Venetian lace..
The skirt is a masterpiece!
The fullest sweep possible!
Double layers of chiffon drawn to a beautiful point in the front…
And then falling to the floor in 6 tiers of white lace and tulle..
It then sweeps to the back in a full train..
Mirroring the point in the front and cascading down in 18 dramatic layers of lace and tulle..
And to top off all the beautiful chiffon and lace, 3 white millinery roses, velvety and beautiful, pinned into place perfectly..
The roses are removable probably for cleaning purposes..I just love love love this detail..3 times!!
The dress is lined with an ivory acetate satin..
Zips up the back for a perfect fit.

Excellent condition..still has the original paper hang tags…when I found this dress it had decades of dust on it..so I carefully removed the tags and gave it a quick soak in water to remove the dust and some surface marks..I did not give it a true cleaning but it was enough to wash away all those years of hanging in a closet somewhere..I carefully replaced the paper tags afterwards..there is a paper size tag stitched into the dress that got wet and is now looking a little shabby..oversight on my part
