The dress is made from 100% cotton..
A wonderful lightweight cotton…like fine sheets..
Beautifully tailored bodice with a sweetheart bustline, pointed waist, and boning for support..
The draping ruffle sleeves are so dramatic and creative such a romantic look..with gathered cuffs and ruffled accents..
The skirt is so full..The fullest!
I fit my biggest bridal petticoat under it and I still had more sweep!
Beautiful ruffled chevron details and huge bottom ruffle bring this dress to the floor with such sweet confection..
The dress is unlined and zips up the back.

Excellent old stock condition with original paper hang tags still attached…the tag has been partially cut, perhaps because of a tiny scissor cut at the bottom hem..the dress has never been washed and has some dirt and surface marks as well as quite a bit of yellow age spotting from prolonged storage in the back of a bridal shop for 40 years..it was so hard to capture the yellow spotting in the photos..I believe that the marks can be lifted…but it will need a professional cleaning..I decided to leave it as I found it, unwashed since 1984, remarkable!
